Liar and Spy by Rebecca Stead
Seventh-grader Georges does not have an easy life. He faces things alone until hemeets Safer who “recruits” him to spy on other tenants. While Georges likes the intrigue, he wonders just how far he should go for a friend
Have you ever read the book Liar and Spy by Rebeca Stead? Well if you haven't and you like to spy this is a good book for you! A boy named Safer moves in and first he wanted to sneak int a man named Mr.Black's apartment and steal important things to him but the main character Gorges dose not want to because he knew it was the wrong thing to do.It is a fun,interesting book that you always want to know more. Safer makes more problems so if you want to what they are you should read the book! MMHH SPG Gr.5
Liar and Spy by Rebecca Stead is a really good book. The book is about a boy Georges who moves into a new apartment and meets a 12 year old boy named Safer. Safer tricks him into thinking that a man in the apartment (Mr.X) is killing people. Georges finds out that he triked him and gets really mad at him. But they become friends again. I recommend this book if you don’t like a mystery that turns out to be a lie. Bu I enjoyed it this book for a last minute read.

The new kid in the apartment complex, Georges, has moved in because his dad has lost his job and with his mom’s salary, they cant afford their old house. Even if he has only moved a few blocks, he finds his life will change a lot. Georges happens to be in the laundry room one day and hew sees a sign saying “ Spy Club”. He meets the head of the club Safer, and his younger sister, Candy and they Spy on his evil neighbor, Mr. X, until Georges finds out the truth.
